Ephesians 2:8-9. "For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith —and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— not by works, so that no one can boast." Good works cannot save us. Declare with your mouth that He (Jesus Christ) is LORD. Believe this in your heart. Father God so loved He sent Jesus that we wouldn't perish. Therefore, confess our sins and be faithful.
We must admit we are sinners. Repent, change our mind for the better. No longer sin but change our mind towards it. Our rebellion keeps us from God and the relationship with Him (Abba Father, Daddy God). Holy Spirit Indwelling us helping to remove sin. If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us.
The gap between us in our sin and God is too wide to bridge. But if anybody does sin, we have an advocate with the Father—Jesus Christ, the Righteous One. So, be willing to turn from sin.
Believe that Jesus Christ died for you, was buried, and rose from the dead bringing blessings, making ourselves righteous, peace with God, through faith into grace, much joy, adequacy through persecutions, love of God with us, the Holy Spirit, salvation from wrath and restoration (to the relationship) by His blood.
Therefore:-
Read our Bible everyday. (2 Timothy 2:15) "Study and be eager and do your utmost to present yourself to God approved (tested by trial), a workman who has no cause to be ashamed, correctly analysing and accurately dividing [rightly handling and skilfully teaching] the Word of Truth." Giving both the true meaning and correct application.
Talk to God in prayer. (Philippians 4:6) "Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God." Be careful or take care. Take thought to your situations. Don't tolerate anxiety or stress. It will injure us. Look to God. He alone will help us.
Be baptised, worship and share fellowship. (Matthew 13:52) "He said to them, “Therefore every teacher of the law who has become a disciple in the kingdom of heaven is like the owner of a house who brings out of his storeroom new treasures as well as old." (Acts 8:38) "And he gave orders to stop the chariot. Then both Philip and the eunuch went down into the water and Philip baptised him." (Acts 5:25) "Then someone came and said, “Look! The men you put in jail are standing in the temple courts teaching the people.”
Finally, tell others about Jesus. ( 1 Corinthians 9:16) "For when I preach the gospel, I cannot boast, since I am compelled to preach. Woe to me if I do not preach the gospel!" And, (Mark 8:38) "If anyone is ashamed of me and my words in this adulterous and sinful generation, the Son of Man will be ashamed of them when he comes in his Father’s glory with the holy angels."
Amen!
