Consider Ezekiel 9:4: "ADONAI said to him, "Go throughout the city, through all Yerushalayim, and put a mark on the foreheads of the men who are sighing and crying over all the disgusting practices that are being committed in it." See also, Revelation 13:16-17: "Also it forces everyone- great and small, rich and poor, free and slave- to receive a mark on his right hand or on his forehead preventing anyone from buying or selling unless he has the mark, that is, the name of the beast or the number of its name."
The first one from Ezekiel is the mark of God. It was given to those who sighed or groaned or grieved because of the sin and rebellion abroad in Jerusalem and the Land. No doubt it was given as a distinguishing mark so they weren't killed, along with everyone else who practised iniquity, from verse 5 onwards. On the other hand, those who take the mark of Revelation 13 are rejecting everything to do with Jesus and Abba Father, who sent Him.
So what is this mark coming on the world? Well, if it's this microchip system which has gained much attention in the church why would having this inserted stop us from going to Heaven? We already have the barcode system which is apparently leading to this. Why are we allowed to participate in that? Maybe you say, it's because we will have to deny God the Father and Jesus Christ. That's a different matter, altogether! But on its own not a system worth thinking about.
If you deny, though, that God is Father and Jesus is the Son certainly it won't be well with you. On the other hand, "If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved." Believing as suggested in this passage implies a change of heart. Therefore, "Let your light shine before people, so that they may see the good things you do and praise your Father in heaven."
In Islam, however, within any Islamic Caliphate state is Sharia law and the teachings of the Quran (their book) giving direction to Muslims throughout the ages. Within this is the Bay'ah, a pledge of allegiance, submission or oath to their leader. This would definitely involve a rejection of The Trinity: God the Father, Jesus Christ as Son and Holy Spirit. No true believer and Jew/Israeli would ever accept or take this mark.
Inherent in the Truth is a belief in God the Father and Jesus Christ as Son. "So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand." (Isaiah 41:10) "Cast your cares on the Lord and he will sustain you; he will never let the righteous be shaken." (Psalms 55:22) "For God did not appoint us to suffer wrath but to receive salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ." (1 Thessalonians 5:9)
